STRAIN GAUGE

Strain measurements in increased temperatures on weldable components, on which - due to their size - strain gage application with hot curing adhesive is not possible. Strain gauge use „on site“ where the cleanliness required for bonding cannot be guaranteed (on construction sites, in production plants etc.).

Schaevitz® P1400 Series Strain Gauge Pressure Transducers are sensors
that provide highly precise measurement of wet/dry differential pressures over wide temperature ranges. Standard versions of this transducer use a 17-4 pH stainless steel diaphragm to sense pressure.
The deflection of the diaphragm is transferred to a double cantilever beam by a force transfer rod. Strain in the beam, and therefore, input pressure is measured by four foil strain gauges.

HBM through Durham Instruments supplies a large variety of Strain
Gauges. We have included .pdf files for your information on our Strain
Gauges for even more information on these Strain Gauges contact Durham
Instruments.

The Interface Minibeam Strain Gauge Load Cells are now available with
MR coating as a cost effective method of protecting 25 thru 250 Ib load
cells from high humidity conditions (up to and including 95% Relative
Humidity) and periodic exposure to condensation. These units are not
intended for submerged operation. For specifications on lower capacity
models with MR (Moisture Resistant), contact Durham Instruments.
